However the RG design has a higher capital cost and greater real estate requirement.
HRC has a significant amount of operating experience with large RG type fabric filters on coal-fired
boilers with some installations greater than 800 MW in size. The combined installations of both HRC
and GEESI/MET provides Hamon Research-Cottrell with the largest installed coal-fired boiler data base
of any other APC supplier.
